A pirate movie theater with fm radio broadcast in vacant downtown parking lots, these massive film projections re-appropriated underutilized public space. The event would spark a global phenomenon with like-minded screenings taking place in over 200 countries around the world.

Another Nonchalant concept that spread like wild fire; the classic Summer camp activity played at night in the center of the city. Action, community, and the thrill of victory!

It began as a covert street-art campaign to raise awareness of Oakland's deep cultural legacy. Over the next few years it earned 10 consecutive "Best of the East Bay" awards for it's broad variety of innovative programming. Promoting great pride and a strong civic identity, it's been said that Oaklandish successfully handled the job that the city's marketing department failed to do.

Co-founders of the local graffiti preservation group and producing public exhibits such as The Legendary Eightees, a digital slideshow featuring over 200 masterpieces from the golden era of bay area aerosol artwork.

Flea market toys and voice-bubble stickers combine to create micro-installations super-glued to random surfaces about town.

Installation: as you enter the event, a motion sensor triggers 40 timed flash bulbs aimed at the red carpet.

"Hidden history, contra-band pop, and the international cinema of revolt". A compelling 2-hour video montage of found footage, designed to slowly crack open our greatest cultural assumptions.

Executive production on two award winning full length feature documentary films from the heralded Guerrilla News Network: Battleground, 21 Days on the Endge of Empire and American Blackout.
